Bio: Don brings a wealth of experience to the practice of wills, estates,
trusts and elder law. In addition, he continues to practice in the area of real
estate. He has contributed articles for publication, more recently
to the Greenville County Bar News relating to Life Estate Interests in
Deeds. For many years, he has
served as legal counsel to Buncombe Street United Methodist Church and has been
a past member of the Administrative Board.
He also serves on the Board of Directors with the Greenville Chorale and
has been a member of the Greenville Symphony.
He has expertise in the areas of clearing tax titles and also other
defective titles relating to real estate. He
is experienced in assisting clients with converting probate assets to
non-probate assets. On a regular
basis he represents personal representatives involving creditor’s claims in
Probate Court. Don has also
assisted numerous clients in the settlement of complex decedents’ estates in
Probate Court. He is a member of
the Board of Directors for the McAlister Foundation, and is managing trustee of
the Lucyle Love Foundation, the James L. Love Bonclarken Foundation, and the
James L. Love Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church Foundation.
